Synopsis

In the post-coronavirus world, wearing a mask isn't Mary's only worry, as she struggles with multiple personality disorder and is unaware that she is the granddaughter of the infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper. Mary finds refuge with her psychotherapist, Dr. Feldman, who prescribes her medicine to keep her evil alter-ego, Kate, at bay. Mary is terrified of the damage Kate would cause if she resurfaced.

 

Mary gets a job at a coffee shop owned by Fiona, who becomes a close friend and mother figure. On her way home one night, Mary encounters a gang of thugs led by O'Connor, the town's crime boss. When Mary is brutally beaten and left for dead, Kate awakens and comes to the forefront of her mind.

Now thirsting for revenge, Kate meticulously plans and executes the murders of the men who attacked her. She uses their blood to write their names in Jack the Ripper’s old diary. Meanwhile, Mary develops a romantic relationship with Detective John, who is pursuing Kate's trail of dead bodies. While this is going on, Kate realizes she’s being controlled by an evil demon who wants to eventually take over both her and Mary for good.
