Will You Be There? by ES1

Will You Be There?

Mom, you welcomed me into this world,

Guiding me through childhood's gentle embrace,

Always present in my moments of need,

Your love is a constant, warm, safe space.

As time moves on, I feel your absence,

A void where your laughter once filled this place.

Yet in my heart, your spirit still lingers,

A hope that whispers: you still care.

Now I ponder, when it’s my time to go,

Will you be there, waiting for me,

With a smile that lights up the heavens,

At the pearly gates, where we’ll be free.

Will you be there?

A Mother's Love by Eddy Sanchez

Though my words may falter, they seek to convey

The sorrow I carry since you went away.

You gave me life, never turning from my plight.

A steadfast supporter through the darkest night.

My mother, the one who saw the best in me,

The one who instilled the belief I could be.

In moments of doubt, you never lost faith.

You were my anchor, my solace, my grace.

You are the greatest gift that God had bestowed upon me.

My mother, my eternal friend, unconditional love that never frayed.

Always present in my joy, my sorrow, my strife,

I love you forever—you were my guiding light.
